Cocu and Cone Win at Caledon National May 20, 2002
With snowflakes in the air, Mac Cone and Cocu put in a double-clear to win the $30,000 Caledon National Grand Prix on May 20 at the Caledon Equestrian Park in Palgrave, Ontario. Cone, born in Tennessee but a Canadian citizen for many years now, has the unique distinction of having ridden for both the U.S. and Canadian Equestrian Teams. Cocu, an energetic Dutch warmblood mare owned by Cone’s Southern Ways Stables, seems to get better each time she enters the ring.

The New Marshall & Sterling League announced today that Home Box Office (HBO), America's leading premium television network, has become the title sponsor of the League's Junior Medal Class to be introduced in 2003. The class will be called the HBO Junior Medal.

National Hunter Jumper Council Zone Teams Capital Challenge Horse Show
For the first time, teams of hunters are representing their zones in the National Hunter/Jumper Council's Prix des Zones at the Capital Challenge Horse Show. Teams consist of one professional rider, one junior or pony rider, and one amateur owner or adult amateur rider. Scores from the first two jumping classes of each rider's respective section count toward the team score. Teams are allowed to drop one score.
